What about the Kal Kustom Boat, ran 115 or 117 MPH or so. Might be a Steve Stepp built Boat

The old 41' CGS race boat w/1300's and staggard #6's was said to have run 130 .

I'm thinking Excess Energy Bob's project will soon be among the fastest . I expect it to run at least into the 120's .....

once knew a guy with a 260 who towed his boat on its trailer down the road up to 110 mph, so he could show everyone his GPS recall @ 110 mph... lol

Excess Energy. Any idea what speed the hull is good too. ? Also any history on your Bold Ruler 41, had seen it in near Lighthouse Point, Florida. Does it still have # 3 or 3A drives. Good luck all the pictures look like you are doing a great job with rigging and power.

Jons, Steve Stepp said the hull will handle as much power as you want to put in one. I followed Excess Energy when it was first build in 91 because of the FORD power. Talked to the owner a few times over the years. Findly ended up with the boat 6 years ago. Total make over, you name it we did it. Boat had #3 on it, now has #5 and close to being done with the PSI build. Thanks Bob
