Bob's boat looks sterilized in person , new paint , interior , gauges , rigging and motors . Plus anything else you can think of , using only the highest quality parts . That just begins to discribe it , and dosen't do it justice .

I recently went 104mph in my 41' with procharged 540's. I know not the fastest on this thread but I was extremely happy with that number.

I am slowly assembling the parts and pieces for my new mill, 548 cube 700ish horse for my VR1 wont be the fastest for sure, but pretty damn fast.....

Should run mid to high 90s if set up wright.
Are you running a left hand prop on you Vr1? When that boat set the record they ran my left hand hydro 29 race labed.

Well back then it didn't have a interior or a cabin. I have a lot of seat time in that boat. We ran a few pokers runs with it when Scott and Bob were not racing it. I throttled it and mike from Halls prop. drove. What a blast! I still have that prop. we ran.

I wonder why they changed it over to right hand? It runs great now and handles well..so I will leave well enough alone.
