That's how we ended up finding out what was going on, check with them on the serial numbers directly instead of using Mer Net.
around $140,000.00. I'm only posting now because I don't want someone else to make the mistake I did. They company still wants to recover the funds.
Pretty sure that's not going to happen & we won't be ordering any parts from anyone other than Mercury again.
yep

next is I know for fact a lot at Merc and Merc Racing know Mike and his nickname thru Merc is "the Junkyard Dog" NO BS. But the KICKER HERE IS Merc does nothing about this guy nor cares to - they have turn their backs on all this and continue to.. Also he really has pissed many boaters off and including dealers especially OEM dealers in Florida.. Many get caught up with the cheap pricing dollars signs from Mike - think about it - when chit is backed door hell anyone could sell products cheap.
I remember 5 or 6 years ago I talked to him on the phone and many things did not add up at all. The guy had so much BS and basically thinks he is smarter than everyone else plus he has a lot of play on words for everything. Just like his responses up here. And I quote one of them of the many -- He runs a Transparent company --- really huge play on words.
On a phone call years ago point blank, I asked him how can you get parts and sell so cheap even below Boat builder costs. His comments back to me --- was Merc loves him like a son and he done so much for Merc that they feel like they owe him favors and thats how he gets cheap great pricing thru Merc.. . Amazing if you talk to Merc their story is soo much different and half of Merc will say Mike W who ?? Never heard of him. .Keep in mind when stuff is backed door every thing becomes cheap. I hope employees that make decisions at Merc are reading all this and take note cause many think Mike works for and or with Merc on the side.. Again he NEVER has worked for Merc nor never was dealer ever. .
Next is still currently I am shocked that many Florida Merc dealers whom I have talked to and or ran into thru out that has complained about this guy but none will not post up here about any of it and their beefs with CME.. .

It was a thread about new prop sales and both props were used restamps - MOSES was also in that thread as well about his dealings and prop dale . That thread is still up here on OSO ? I am asking cause I do not know and post # 101 mentions a post as well. Was nt he ( Offshore Legend ) the one who posted about his restamp - reworked prop that was to be a new prop sale thru CME aka M W.
Not sure why the CME discussion was added to this thread or which mod closed the thread.
It said "moderated" because a new member posted and we had to approve that single post.

Yes he texted me late last nite and said he got band. Actually he is a decent guy.and prob some take him wrong. I did the same at first but after talking to him I totally change those thoughts.. He is NOT a bad dude at all and really wanted a fair deal on the prop sale but did not turned out well for him all the way around. . .

I remember those 860 engines - it was a seriously good deal on them. I called him sorta considering them for my Comp but I got the same story - they were overseas and he wanted the money upfront before he would ship them back to the States. I told him that myself and anyone paying that kind of money would need to physically see and touch the engines here in the States before paying for them. He wanted no part of shipping them back first. I can totally understand why someone having done business with in the him in the past would trust him though. That totally sucks. The Scum. Amazing how someone can pull this and not be behind bars.
