when are you guys going to come up to horsetooth and play?

Well Yesterday was a bad day on the lake. I was getting pulled on a wake board and I heard a snap and engine went to the rev limiter then sudden stoppage. After alot of cursing I attempted to restart the engine..... locked up solid! Tore the drive off this morning and lots of metal flake under the top cap. When I separated the lower from the upper I found a snap vertical shaft.

Tror looks alike we will probably not make it to Navajo...Damn.

Trying to decide if I should buy a whole new drive then rebuild this one as a backup. Or just rebuild this one.

That's ****ty GAZ!!! We were really looking forward to hanging with you and the wife over labor day. You have time, get ya a drive on there that wont break! That was a ZX drive, right? That's makes me nervous about going to a 600+ hp engine with my B1x. Good luck to ya! Seth0678, would love to come up & check out your lake, heard a lot about it.

TRor, we would love to have you guys up...but the lake is the lowest it's been in 20 years. normally it's a lot more fun....I'm contemplating calling it for the year and starting some projects early...

I know sucks, we were both looking forward to it also. Yea, it was a XZ drive. Looking at the IMCO Extreme from what I understand it has the same gears basically. I'm not sure,... trying to do some quick research. Don't want to wind up with another crap drive

whats decent in CO right now? Looking for something for quick day trips closer to dever. I know pueblo and mesa are always goo. just brought my 25 outlaw here from the east coast and need a place to play for the day... i hear horsetooth is too low.. chatfield? cherycreek? anyone know anything about these places?
