I had a 2002 37 AVH with the Mellinuim cabin and all the goodies including a genset, A/C with heat, hot water heater, microwave, corian countertop, etc......it was loaded.
With 500 EFI's, 1.5:1 XR drives and stock 32p Bravos the boat would run 76-79 at 4500-4600 RPM depending on load, fuel etc. I am sure the boat had more left in it. With a set of labbed 31p the boat should run low to mid 80's. The way it was set up was great for cruising. I could run 60 mph at 3500 rpm. Very fuel efficient.
Are you looking at buying or building a boat? Give me a call if your interested in talking about the boats.

I have a 2002 AVH the cabin is not as loaded as Kevins but nice eqiupped, I have HP500 carbs, and 30p props, and with about 1/2 tank ran 85.2 and with almost empty tank cool air and 6 inch chop ran 86.4, I was really suprised to see those numbers, I hadthese motors in a 32 AT and could only see 82 once on a good day.

You have got to be pleased with those speeds
What is the RPM of the motors at that speed ? Is there any left ? Not that you would really need anymore out of a 37 foot boat running in the high 80's with 500's.That hull is incredible isn't it

Yes, I was really happy with the way it turned out. Everyone had told me that it would see mid eighty's,but you know the way that everyone stretchs the speed by a couple mph ( industry wide). The props are stock bravo 30's, with the rpm on the rev limiters, some time I have to just trim in just a little and it falls right on 5500rpm. I know this is a little high for these motors but just had about 3-4 weeks with the boat before it got cold here. I am sending the props off to get worked to 31p, but I am a little comprehensive because I don't want to mess up what I have now.
The hull is the best I have ever ridden in, one test ride and anyone would be sold on the boat. My girlfriend did not like the 32v at 80mph, but the 37 doesn't bother her.

Just got back from a cold weekend in Havasu. There was wind advisories as well. We thought it was a good time to go boating. We had the lake to ourselves.
The boat ran its fatest at 77.2 mph. Awesome.
