Uhhhhhh, it's nice to see that thing finally but...
WTF!!?? The windscreen, the radar arch, and the funky hatch??? I'm sorry but it appears they took a boat that had endless classy potential and destroyed it! Maybe it's the pics, the angle, etc. but.....I just don't know. Would've been very nice to make that thing clean and mean (like Tsunami). I RARELY have a negative thing to say about a boat. But that thing does not even resemble an Apache. I'll be awaiting more pics. |

I'm guessing that 54 is a Military or Police application. It has that badazz look! Ed |

Any updates on this boat. Could it be Urlachers from Da Bears. The number and color of the stripes kinda match thier jerseys.

Some engine Room shots for you Jon.
Ed, This boat was not designed to be the fastest but to have enough power to get respectable speeds in the triple digits. Duna. |
Very Impressive!
Thanks Duna |

I stopped by to see Mark this evening and he gave me look at the new boat. I am awestruck.
The Kevlar portion is completed and he layed in all the carbon fiber today. Fifty one feet of black carbon fiber, shiny from the resin curing is an f'n incredible sight. There's almost six digits worth of carbon fiber that went in to the mold today. Stringers go in tomorrow. The stringers I saw today are rigid structural foam. Pretty neat stuff. As already mentioned, Mark is using a great deal of high tech materials to build this one. He expects to save a great deal of weight in the process. An interesting thought occurred to me while driving home; when this boat comes out of the mold each of our Apaches becomes a little bit more valuable. As the new one gets finished, our boats become incrementally more valuable. I am certainly biased on this topic, but as was mentioned in another thread, we can be thankful that he has not been pumping out an inferior product, i.e. Bayliners, for the last ten years and subsequently eroding the value of our boats. This one can only serve to enhance the image and value of the Apache brand. We all benefit from that. Tom |

HA...I am not too fond of the way the deck is designed/looks in the stern/transom end of my AT either. :o |
Is it an optical illussion or is that boat 5 inches from sinking?
|
Hope it's not too bumpy that day?!
|
Would like to see interior pics

I don't like anybody taking anything I post and quoting me out of context to serve some twisted agenda. Big Feather is obviously a liar, loser and a sneaky scumbag. Not a straight shooter at all, reminds me of Cashbrain. A real piece of chit.

You guys calm down, no need to get irritated or go do it in the street or on the water. Cold War was never supposed to run in water, only to run on a trailer, its too heavy for water. One more case that shows too heavy is not good. The boat will probably stuff backwards if you let it backup too fast. Any glass work to make it lighter is welcome. Let's hope this boat can be improved so that it can end up running on the water. I am sure we would all like that and I am sure his owner before us.
