Iwas told one way to test, if you can go higher is trim up a little if you can get on plane it should accept shortys.I here people saying there making power not getting speed check the haul for hooks Baja know for high slip factor Im running 02 33 660 hp.first year 87 is all I could get .Straight edged last 8 feet and installed imcos ,spinning same props 32 labs same rpms 4% more efficnt 95 -96 My prop shaft is three and threequarters from bottom of boat slip factor is 13%

Sorry nothing new yet i took the motors out and did alittle
work.they are going back in next week. the drives are 41/4 below the hull there is no hook in the bottom when i took it
out i tried to trim up and down tab it but it was real hard to get on plane but i did with 26 bravo's they were to small
at the rev limit.so julie is sending me a set of 5 blades the
first week in april i also have a set of bravo 30's i will try
i will post the results!!!!!!!!!!!

I have also ridden in a 2001 36 Outlaw with Whippled 502/509's and it was hitting 92 on the GPS.
The 33, 36 and 40 Outlaws all handle very well at all speeds. It just takes a lot of power to get them up there!
