Like I said in a past post -- Im the bad guy here for exposing about look for your serial numbers when buying applicable Merc parts and other marine OEM parts. So if one thinks I m still the bad guy here so be it. . See CME looks at you guys as being dumb --- heck these dumb boat owners do not know anything that serial numbers and tracking numbers comes with many Merc parts so magically all of that is gone before shipment to the buyers.
1. CALL MERC and B I T C H like H E L L. Its their parts that they are allowing to get peddled here thru a C. C. BOAT MANU and out the back door of the international shipping warehouse in Miami. They continue allow this as admitting from CME for 7 years straight of daily peddling MERC parts all over the webs and misrep parts to the buyers.. WOW Merc shame on you to even allow this -- when many real Florida Merc dealers have to maintain dealer buys and requirements also have a min of one cert tech working the service center. I am shocked that the dealers are not up expressing their voice of deep concern up here.
And for the record that is a used prop and not even a current manu prop. . Jeez you could nt even get a decent box as well. Again CME looks at this as you guys are dumb and would never know about any of this especially serial numbers and warehouse tracking numbers so forth and so on . .

Rexalot, on what basis did Amex side with the seller? Seems like a clear cut case of false advertising. Just curious, pursuing it with them still sounds like your best bet. Generally CC companies will protect a buyer from this kind of fraud.

I think they did not understand that this was not what I ordered. Mike told them he sent me exactly what I ordered. He sent them an invoice that stated no returns on it. I sent them the original email he sent me and the text strings and all email conversations that we had that said he had the exact prop and that it was a stock 30 pitch maximus. When I recieved it I found out it was not a stock 30 but actually a reworked 32. Anyway they have reopened the dispute and I sent them the ad from OSo where he states that Maximus propellers NEW in all pitches are the same price. I am convinced they understand now that I did not receive what was promised to me verbally and in writing. You have a copy of the add and what I was sent .What does the boating community think? I really feel like I have been unfairly treated. I only want what I was told I was going to get for my money. Nothing more .. nothing less.

Is it too late to add a poll to this topic?
Let the members decide by vote If anyone has been wronged. Poll should be anonymous so people feel free to vote in an unbiased fashion, swayed by the strength of the argument.
5 alternatives:
a) CME did not supply what was promised and should refund the full amount
b) Chuck Norris is cool
c) Performance boats are fun
d) I like beer
e) all of the above
anonymous.

Dude, TOTAL bait and switch.
What you sold him, and what you sent him are two different items altogether.
I would not have inspected the prop and markings after pulling it out of that box.
He didn't find out that it wasn't right until he ran it on the boat.
Pay for the shipping back, and refund the man his money.
Plain and simple.

Coast Mar Exp, please address.
Upon further inspection after it did not perform as expected, that's likely when he found out it was a reworked prop you sent him. Again, the buyer expected a BRAND NEW prop. There was no reason for him to question its authenticity. When I buy something BRAND NEW, I put that shlt on and use it. I don't question it unless I have reason to.
Know now that everyone on this site has every reason to question ANYTHING/EVERYTHING you sell, because this thread indicates that you are not honest in your sales. I'll admit that I've considered your listings in the past. Never again.

Maybe he thought it was damaged in shipping. I can see that original thought because one might think that would be the only reason the diffuser ring would have a ding on a brand new out of the box prop.
But upon further inspection, that's likely when he found out it was a reworked prop you sent him. Since it wasn't brand new, and obviously not original to that box; there is no telling when that diffuser ring got dinged. Again, the buyer expected a BRAND NEW prop. When I buy something BRAND NEW, I put that shlt on and use it. I don't question it unless I have reason to.

relaxalot ordered and was promised a brand new 30P Maximus prop only to receive a reworked 32P Maximus prop that when he tested it...didn’t work. So now he is out thousands of dollars for a prop that doesn’t work and something he didn’t pay for/order. Relaxalot wants his money back and will gladly ship the prop back.
then you have my story from last week...in which I was in search of a bravo 26RH prop. I explained to mike I needed it overnighted because of an upcoming poker run. I spent $200 for overnight. Upon receiving it, it was damaged and it def wasn’t from shipping. There is no way the hub can be damaged how it was from shipping. Mike offered to take the prop back but this is after I paid $200 to overnight it knowing I would miss the poker run. Guessing I had to pay shipping back too. I would like money back towards a repair and shipping costs...
funny how how CME goes radio silent on this thread...
