My vote would have been to keep paint it had , restore cockpit to its original state, update the dash, go thru mechanicals, and call it a day. I think getting it closer to how it came shipped from cigarette would have been much more tasteful than where it's at now . 47k is a pipe dream for that boat. If someone showed up with 29k tomorrow I'd take it and run.

Frick I would have to disagree , I posted my notch build and got nothing but positive comments and some good advice and insight . I have not posted in this thread but have been following it . I get the sense that the young man in question may have gotten off in the wrong direction as some of the members on the site that met him found him to be a nice guy . Hopefully he has learned something along the way and will not be discouraged , as any boat rebuild can be a daunting task whether you do it for profit or not . I personally would like to see your build .

I will give Phil credit for painting boat and it seems to look good from what's seen I might do different but everyone has different taste, I will give credit for the drive to do it and try to start a buisness, but in today's economy i think the boat flipping buisness is not a great idea, how can you make a living restoring a boat when it takes 6 months and MAYBE a 10,000 profit if any, again put your time and deduct 40.00 am hour and see where numbers fall and find me profit.

Did he fix the overspray on the deck from the previous pics? The spelling and grammar in the ad look like sick stinger or kidapache helped write it ;)
