pretty sure that comment had nothing to do with you but if you would like to insert yourself into this conversation, by all means, have at it. it was meant for someone that can't stop beating a dead horse. i'm just glad im not 19 with my first boat trying to share it with the osoer's of the world. he may have been a bit too cocky but that was discussed some 40 pages ago, time to let it go.

lots of misleading suggestive info in that ad, isnt that what screws rookie boaters over?
I have really missed this thread, it has been kind of boring around here for the past month.

FF... As on pbss. Let it go dude. Half of me wants to hold onto it, do a few more things and sell it In the spring. But it's ok, I'll do what I see fit. And but when it comes down to it... I did you show you, and every other hater.. I proved you and every other guy who didn't like me wrong. Before ANYTHING about the money, it was you and God knows how many other people telling me that I can't build a boat, I can't do glass, I can't do paint, I can't do this I can't do that... Sure, my time line was off because I was used to doing stuff like this for 8+ hr days at my day job. Working 6-4am after working 8-5 starts to slow you down. I finished the boat. And I enjoyed it. I have lots of business coming in from building this one boat. So even if my original plan was to rebuild this, and sell it for a profit... Sure, that didn't happen.. But you know what.. I have 4 cigs, a skater, a 35 fountain getting custom paint this winter all from just doing one boat... Is why I can take a hit and break even. But you know what... That break even number... Where the boat is listed at.. Was fuel expenses for 6 monthes, bar tabs, date nights, my ****inh trip to loto, fuel in the boat is all covered under my break even number. So in the long run, I'm still making money because my living expenses were paid for 6 monthes. But what it comes down to... Is that I'm making a name for myself. I can show up to a poker run or a fun run and people know me. I get to hang out with the big names in my area. I have a growing client list with people calling asking talking looking for boats. Ideas etc. I have suppliers who give me large discounts on products. And I'm ALREADY moving into a bigger heated shop... I'm winning Tim... You said I would be a blimp on the radar, that I possibly couldn't know how to prep and lay paint. Or lay glass, I'm sure with all the time you have you will be able to find those posts you or others said about me. and I'm starting to dig my heels in, so go all you want about my boat... It'll sell eventually.. And I'll do another one. Why? Because I can. And I'll enjoy that one too. I'll keep advertising. And covering my costs. I'll gamble because I'm young and I can. You keep running Lake Erie with your blow up mistress. I'm going to be at poker runs all over the country with many different boats living the dream. Sure. Maybe not making bank now, maybe I never will who knows. But I love what I do.. I get to do things only a hand full of people get to do. I get to buy and sell and customize **** people only dream of owning. and I don't go to work every day at a set time I don't answer to anyone. So sure, critisize my listing, say your right about how I wouldn't make money flipping this particular boat. There's money to be had doing it... That's why people do it. Im sure I'll start to figure it out. I'm sure a few boats from now I'll figure it all out. I'm sure a few years from now things will be a lot different. But just know Tim... That I'm winning.. I did and will continue to Proove you wrong that I can build.

The only thing 315 proved is all of us "haters" were correct. Keep running illegal business undercutting the rest of us making an honest living.
For all you supporting "a kid chasing his dreams" wait until that kid takes money out of your families pocket..........
This isn't a kid building a pleasure boat for himself. Might want to check your facts and stop skimming the threads. Better yet research other threads about him.
315....I personally hope your dad loans you enough money so you can make your business dreams a reality and eventually turn some real profit and pay dad back.
And don't get to big of a head yet just because your paint looks nice In pictures...... We still have no clue if it actually looks good in person, no clue if it will hold up, and no clue if you or your facility can handle major issues/snags that arrise while working on these high dollar boats.
Please keep posting story's about all your jobs booked so we can have some more entertainment throughout winter!
