I never once said this boat was anything. And I would never take your word for it FF or anybody else. If the boat is a complete hack job it won't sell, pure and simple, and he will still learn a valuable lesson from that.

And since you were wondering why I wasn't in here defending my prior posts, it's because after 50 hours of work this week I had dinner with my family and then spent 5 hours actually assembling a motor instead of hand firing a load all over my keyboard about a boat I don't own and a kid I don't like.

As for you Cigmaster, you come in here with pictures nobody has ever seen and act like we should have driven out to Syracuse and personally inspected this boat before defending Phil. Come on man, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FINAL PRODUCT. The free market will dictate the eventual selling price of this boat, and if it sells for 15 grand then Phil will no doubt learn he has to up his game or not bother. I still stand by the fact he doesn't need people crapping on his boat that have no skin in the game.

Not at all the case, if I met him at a boating even I would buy him a beer and most likely we would smooth it over and move on, it has happened here with a few guys... No need to worry about anyone getting buffaloed on this pile of junk he's selling Tim. A 10 year old girl could look at that mess and immediately see it's a pile of crap.

There isn't an item / system on that boat that is up to snuff. The entire pile is in need of reworking. Honestly, it's worth more parted out as a proper restoration would put a guy 40 to 50 k upside down!

This thread has definitely highlighted the young mans gumption and, along with it, his shortcomings on paint and bodywork, his lack of experience, his lack of integrity and what a mess this thing really is.

So, who's going to buy this for anywhere close to 30k?
