3500 is 3 lbs of boost, with the 4 blades.7 lbs at full throttle. The 34 5 blades are 5 lbs at 3500, and 6 at the stops.they are 2 inches higher and don't run much different.

if running more boost at the same rpm you would think it would burn more gas, but its covering more ground too....I guess the deference is in hulls,on my 30pt 4 blades i could ease up 4000 at 70mph and 0 on boost/vac gauge and 8.2psi max

Ive got a buddy w/42 cig w/575 its running around 3psi around 3800-4000.thats were they run it all the time,rideing with him just seems to me thats straining the motors running it hard like that, but a 42 is a heavy boat

Interesting. On my light 30 Cigarette Mystique, 4800 is 0 boost, climbs to 7 lbs @ 5650. 4800 is 80 mph with labbed (Merc Racing) 37 4 blades. Hering 5 blades is almost 90 at 4800, zero boost. The 5 blades are much more efficient at cruise but have proven to be brutal on drive life.. Oh well, XR issues.. -Great thread btw

90mph at 0 boost and 4800rpm? Damn..How light is a mystique!?.. my boost starts to build at 3700 .. @ 4800 I`m at 5psi.
