Thanks, lots of work working with Stainless.
Tons of coolant machining because it likes to move/warp all over with heat and stress.
Same with welding, patients is the game with this crap.

Original owner had dual water pick-ups for each engine.
One Clam Shell and one transom pick-up per engine.

5 blade 34s to big, it ran 270 miles last weekend running 4 blade, 34s. Tops out at 95, still looking for the right props. The 4 blades are fast but suck at cruise (3500). We don't run fast WFO, but cruise at 3500. Going back to turning in now. Looking for 5 blade 17.5 x 31 15 rake.100 miles back in the rain, 3-5 foot seas, dodging thunder storms. What a .Blast

Then we removed a T-shirt from between the carb adapter and blower! It picked up then then to 91. Added 5 blade herings and slip went down, added intercoolers and boost. Speed was then in low to mid 90s. But the cruise 3500 came up about 5 mph. Much more useful. We set our boats up for the best cruise, over top speed. We run long distances at 3500, and get better mileage than CCs, and we are running twice the speed.
The Chiefs make 1000 each, on Tommys Dyno.

Did the 5 blades change the vac/boost (motor load)at the 3500 compared to the 4 blades?

say if you were running 10inchs of vac before at 3500 4 blades and with the 5 blades at 3500 had more load causing the vac decreased?
