but thats a whole other story anyway i honestly thought i dropped something in the intake in one of the turbines
only took them out about 15 times re rigging for the shaft drives.
here is a short video after i started to chase it with the compressor housing removed.

Quite a refit to say the least... did you get "IT" out of the housing without too much fuss?

Any particular reason for the surface drive vs. the SSM6? issues or??? Rudder config looks cool

So i texted Jim at Principle propulsion Systems AKA PPS The video.
he immediately responded that he has heard that sound before and said it was a bolt head that had come off one of the bolts
holding the radial compressor on. So we shall see!!
with his consent and support i started to tear it down stay tuned!!!!

i could not find anything in the radial compressor area.
i will remove the PT section and go into the Gas producer area Basically i have to remove the entire Diffuser!
Shafts are way cool!!
the sixes were good to me and i kept up on them. Common sense tells me i should have probably left them on but your talking to a guy who runs turbines in a boat.
That Rudder is off the late al Copeland Skater

Ok looking down the barrel

Dont forget to mark the relation way down inside With some white paint Basically so when u put it back on u line it Up

I didnt need this it locks the shaft so u can remove The lock nut spanner and the hollow bolt below I used the small impact and it removes it nicely.

The hollow bolt is what we are removing Which releases the pt from the shaft Note shims
