is it safe to assume that this is a common problem that is over looked?
Well, sh!t, the ones I redid are no longer leaking, but every time I pressurize it I find another one leaking. It's like playing whack-a-mole. Looks like heads are coming off and I'm going through it again.
I guess it's better to find it now rather than when it's in the boat.

The boat was a mess with crap like this : TRS plates rated for 400hp
(I put in the correct HD plated in red)

My Fastenal account manager was loving me, every bolt in this build was either too long or too short, I replaced most of the fasteners to the correct length
example: the correct bolt is on the left.
(coolers must have been hanging on by a thread with that short right bolt)

Lets just use two lockwashers when the bolt is too long

I almost burned down the boat because of most wires looked like this.. nice 10 gauge wire going to a 100amp alternator btw

The race plate almost killed the oil pan because it was rubbing.

Some awesome 1990 vintage non matching distributors

Guess they were going for the WIIIIDE pattern on the valves

I could go on but you get the picture... its done right now thats all that matters
