Back to more pertinent matters here.
Did 5P have a sucessful critter conversation on the long dock Sunday AM? Or, do I need to dig out the .357 mag rat shot and risk jail time to put this to bed? P.S. Do I need to bring a speed loader full of rat shot for the stereo offenders the first weekend of Pirates? More than glad to do what's needed to keep the Boathouse regulars happy, long as you're all in for bail money. |

So I hear. I'll admit I have no personal knowledge of the event, plain and simple wasn't even there. Might be the reason for the Mute Button, ya' think? Might give it a passing thought. Not being judgemental here, never heard a thing here in Potsdam. Just offering up a comment, hope you take as intended. |

Jeff Thought this might happen and was just coming back to expand in hope you would not take it the way it seems you did. Never knew you were tagged for the engine burp. But I do know that someone else was recently, though I don't understand why. It was my deal and those I heard from were not placing blame on anyone else. So I don't understand how you were blamed. I listened, apologized, end of deal far as I knew. My point is simple here, (see above),Chit happens. But those in the Boathouse see a few of us as your friends, somewhat the reason for you to visit. Certainly you could do so with or without knowing anyone at HBW. But that is pretty much how others in the Boathouse see it. Just try to understand that at the end of the weekend you go home, they come back the next, so do we. To their credit they don't go running into HBW, they just at times offer comment to some of us. Were I in your house and did something that offended folks, they made comment to you, I would not be offended if you were to pass it on, like I said Chit happens. Not trying to throw you under the bus, not preaching behavior, I have no first hand knowledge of what happened. just offering up a comment to a friend. |

Agreed. Boathouse drama 101. Watching Ron White on the comedy channel as I type, the man has it figured out! Ya' just can't fix stupid! Might even fall in that catagory myself at times. :drink: |
went to see KISS last night,
never a rabid fan, but I gotta say they put on one helluva glam/spook/pyro/heavy guitar stage show! Gene is 61. Unbelievable how so many of these rock acts and artists continue to belie/defy their age on stage. It was the last show on the tour and one of their smallest venues- so they were obviously having fun with it... personal highlight for me was "Detroit Rock City"- they hit it right on! other notables... "Black Diamond" "Love Gun" "Duece" "Do'ya Love Me" "Rock and Roll all Night" "Lick It Up" |
Another fantastic weather weekend in the Islands. Got the re-calibrated and updated GPS speedo installed in the Biotch today and was able to get in some on water time this afternoon. Got to run down the Canadian North Channel with another Fountain, what a blast! Lovin'n this re-cal! Real good numbers for a real good hot rod.
"Do'ya Love Me" , Yes I do Biotch!!! :drink: Poker Run weekend, Kelly will be in the house, looking foreward to a great weekend coming up. |
week from today I'll be heading your guys way!!!!!!! King of the River Run anyone. Next Saturday, Sunday the following Saturday? who's in date/time preferences?

Thanks to all at The Boathouse ! Even my 'broken' boat could not spoil a great time.
First and most important thanks goes to Ragged, who not only made slip (aka a parking spot.......NOT a fall off the dock) arrangements, but then let me rob parts from his engines to get my boat running and save my wedding anniversary celebration. Peter never hesitates to help a friend and his generosity is appreciated. Next Axa, then 5PM for getting the weekend started with a raft-up and a 'quick' lesson in speed on my boat, followed by a professional photo shoot of Axa's 353 coming back in. Then Rockstar for loading us up for a happy hour cruise on the sweet Sea Ray to numb us up before dinner. Ragged set us up at The Admiral for a round of stiff drinks before a nice meal and more tales of treachery. Always a good time with great people, feels like a home away from home. Thanks to all for the hospitality. Also the entire staff at Hutchinson Boat Works for their help in diagnosing my boat. Ragged is definitely a player there, you drop his name and all requests are met with timeliness and professionalism. BTW Ragged, now I REALLY owe you that high mph ride......I am completely ashamed that Axa and 5PM got the opportunity to ride before the last fuel issue hit, and you did not get the ride and thrill you deserve. Next time is going to have to be much sooner than later, and after all the favors I guess you deserve to drive :boat: |
Kelly,
Was great to have you and Julie in the house. Sorry I missed friday's lesson, but then I'm already a believer! :D Actually we did get a ride, and I was handed the wheel. Believe I saw 25 or so, will admit I was hoping to add one little number to that. ;) Peter |
Kelly and Julie, you are always welcome anytime. Loved the triple digit ride, thank you, what an awesome piece! Not to mention the cool hands at the wheel! Hope you get that small issue straightened out quick. Let me know if I can help. Best to Julie from us both. Hope to see you again soon!

Interesting thing happened this weekend, went to the offshore races in Port Huron yesterday, ran into the Adrenalin Rush crew, asked if anyoff them new AXA. Reply I got was I know you. It was Jake runnin throttles on the power one boat and his Dad was driving. They placed third in case you're wondering.
4 days and I'll be back in the St Lawerance river |

Up goes the hot air balloon for another season. Here's a thought, just off the top of my head. Why not just everyone have a nice weekend, go out for a rip, pick you patch of water and run your best number. At the end of the day just put it up on the recall, best number takes it! New number, old number, any number that is GPS in nature is in the mix. I will exclude my old number, the 94 I hit back then. My number will have to be higher to count. How's that for fair? Far as you Stepper, If I can not better your number by 25+ I will hand you a crisp $100 dollar bill on the dock on saturday night. However if I do, get out the Franklin and the crying' towel!!! :evilb: P.S. Just remember that Kelly O was in the Biotch bilge last week playing with chit. I may be old school and not real high tech, but he sure as he!! is. Just to clarify the GPS deal, handheld in the car won't cut it. |
RAGGED !!!! Pretend this is poker, don't show your hand till everyone plays their cards.:party-smiley-004:
As for what was done in your bilge early Thursday AM......no one quite knows for sure, but I am eager to hear the results.:evilb: |

Not at all Jeff, happy if it works out well for you, simple as that. I would bet that Hot Stepper would let you into his 2011 King of the River Run should you feel up to it. Far as the last couple posts. Some have their guys, some have their wizzards. All I have is my high tech farmer friend. My money is on Kelly O. :evilb: P.S. Bump Cheeka Cheeka Bow Wow ??? |

Another great weekend in the Islands. Made a lunch run to Cape Vincent on saturday with Axa and 5P. Had drunk people sleeping on the dock and in the water saturday night, well early sunday morning. Long story but NOT ME!
Topped it off this afternoon taking a run with Nolan in his Fountain and the crew of Market Price. That Hustler will haul the mail, and Nolan was not exactly draggin' azz, I was impressed, game on Nolan! Kelly, the Cow Power is starting to come on, if I don't get to you in the next day or so Nolan saw the GPS recall this afternoon after our little fun run. He can share it with you. Thanks Bud!!! :evilb: Stepper my man, that is one sweet shot of the Biotch in flight, complete with the shot of the five blades in action. Thanks to Allan for that big azz Sea Ray wake that made for the big air. |

Where's the On&Off! Having put some thought into this I am relinquishing the King of the River title. I was thinking more in terms of those of us that banter on here about it on a regular basis. In that the crew of Market Price showed, and blew past me at something around 108, even with Cow Power I can't match that number. Market price has the crown! The podium now stands at ......... Market Price, The Biotch, and Nolan. Challengers should contact crewmember Donnie, over at Bonnie Castle, for any rematch arangements. I do however intend to retain the Best Flight award, unless bettered by the end of this weekend. :drink: |

Gallon jug of On&Off and some elbow grease! Maybe friday, Stepper says it would be worth another 5, he's one of those engenieer guys. Could put me closer to that Hustler. :D |
Nice to see and run with you 2 Ragged, man I better get that boat out of the water. I bet the searay you used as a pogo stick had less boat in the aqua then I did..WTF I must have been sleeping, I'll put the Herings on this weekend if I even get to use the boat.

Not sure if we have shots of you when you were crankin' on it but it was up there and on the pad. I believe the posted shot was during one of the take a breath periods. Game on you're looking fine! Like I said, I was impressed! It was fun to just run them out! :D |
Well atleast we had your GPS speedo to give us an idea where the old tub of mine ran MPH??? And that hard run of yours on the GPS was more then impressive. I think there was a white and purple 12meter with surface drives from our area that has a # on the side that the Biotch is worthy of??????:party-smiley-004:

I know that boat. ;) |
All the fuss and banter. Hot Stepper claims 2027+ MPH but has no logged GPS to back it up, the Flockers claim to have the majority in the Boathouse, PC's not excluded. One whole week to post the number, and no takers?
Am I to assume that the run up the Canadian North Channel this past weekend with a couple of Fountains and a trio of Flockers sealed the deal? |

Am I to assume that the run up the Canadian North Channel this past weekend with a couple of Fountains and a trio of Flockers sealed the deal? It was fun watching you two Reggie boats drive aimlessly down the river then up the river after acknowledging we were going the other way. :lolhit: It was one of those ..... here they come .... and there they go .... :boat::boat: As far as Hot Stepper is concerned the only thing he saw Saturday was the inside of the boathouse ..... apparently he was captured by Pirates friday night  ..... they made him drink all night ..... I on the other hand was to busy enjoying ALL the sights that day :evilb: ...... :lolhit: Jeff |
I'm Blaming Mom for the Friday night adventures. But hey it was worth it:drink: Had a great time the rest of the week. Drive home was crappy torrential down poor from abay to Toronto. The hidden perk I didn't have to fill up in Canada:drink::drink::drink:

Labor Day Weekend
Been quiet on this thread, must be some turn-downs got installed on a few keyboards ?
Heard Twins was looking to get a roof over his head for the weekend, concerned about keeping dry. Good plan, but also need to stay on top of the docks, the bottom side of docks get kinda wet too. What fun was had ?? |
Jeff did stay dry and on the right side of the dock all weekend.
He's been pretty well behaved lately, must be the tri-athalon preparations. Last time up he was into the swimming, this time he seemed to be focused on the bike training. However, when leaving the Bay yesterday I did notice a wanted poster up around the corner with his mug shot on it, seems the local Altar and Rosary Society has issues they would like to discuss with him. |
