And others of us have to make the power so you can make the cheese to pay for this junk.

So, while you relax in the Bay, just remember who keeps the lights on in that boathouse at night!!

You best get busy on that boat! The 4th is closing in on us! :lolhit:

I do feel for you though, spent the day climbing trees, cutting branches and hauling chit.

My yard don't have AC, I assume your office does.

Am I to assume this would be the Fountain that was in residence in my slip over the weekend? Nice to know a 42 will fit right in there.

Odd how a Flocker seems to travel with a hot Fountain close at hand.
Must be Beak Envy! :lolhit:

Hot Stepper 05-31-2012 07:22 PM

Hey Pete, is that you standing up in the back of that thing

Doubt it little man.

While running I would need to be able to see over the dash to see this one,

to see you I would only need to be able to see over the sun pad, and have some binocks. :lolhit:

5PMSMWHR 06-13-2012 06:01 PM

I heard Holy Cow has hired a professional jockey for this weekends poker run. What's up with that?

5PMSMWHR 06-13-2012 06:38 PM

....and they're installing camper canvas

Well I see the cat is out of the bag, did Kelly spill the poop? How do you come up with this chit? You been playing with one of those white domes in your parking lot at work again? Stay tuned for News @ 11:00. :evilb:

Just out of idle curiosity, are the Thunder Chickens going to strut their stuff on saturday?

Not in the cards. An install of sorts maybe, but not camper canvas. Just the thought of that is somewhat offensive to me.

axapowell 06-14-2012 12:39 AM

This weekend is your chance to defend your "Self-proclaimed King of The River" title, Ragged. Hike up the skirt and run with the Big Boyz as a paid entry. It's your chance to show all of those slower boats what you got!

I figure the longer that boat sits in the garage, the faster it gets...On GPS of course.

Me, well I'm just as happy to watch! I've already got a couple of weeks in and a whole summer to enjoy my toy without wrenching on it! Plus I already know what it will do!

UHhmmm.....sort of. Kinda killin' two birds with one stone (did I just say that in the T-Bird section ??):cartman:

Been thinking of a change and figured why not extend my rig's prospective buyer test session into a fun day on the water ?

Yes but they are running a 65 mph class, you could set up the auto-pilot and run the whole thing from the back seat !!

You also better find some wood to knock the knots out of......claiming no wrenching for the whole summer.

I think you're confusing me with Mr. Stepper. He's the one with the GPS and the Anchor Shade.

That being the case maybe I should just let it sit a little longer. Wouldn't hurt my feelings any if it was just starting to come into it's own as it rolled past 100.

Far as the run goes, glad to have an invite. Haven't done one of these in ten years or so, looking foreward to it. Being in a Fountain, icing on the cake. Though I would have been just as quick to accept if it were to be in an Outerlimits, or something.

Wouldn't work for me, I'd have to stand up to see. I think there is a picture here of that.

Team "Holy Cow" putin' on the shine on saturday morning before the run. Matters not where you finish, but you do need need to look good while you're doing it.

We were lucky to have a young man on board that had a knack to pull not only the third place cards but also had the the Miss Thousand Islands winner in hand hours before the judges picked her.

Way to pick them Frank!!!

You just have to love it when a deal comes together, more importantly you just can not beat a great day on the water.

Thank you Kelly!

Kelly O 06-20-2012 07:54 AM

Was a great time for sure. Did not get to spend much quality time in the boathouse with the regulars, but did see them out performing 'community services' later in the evening Saturday night.

5PM's better half volunteered to fill an empty stage and make the DJ's @ Downtown believe Sir-Mix-Alot should still be in the play list.......a generous gesture for sure !!!:eekdrop:

Not to be out-done, AXA spotted a confused gentleman at the bar to try and help him understand exactly where he was. Seems the man had imbibed to the point he thought AXA was a blackjack dealer at a casino. He kept shouting ( no doubt due to the loud music ) at AXA to "HIT ME !!". The apparent lack of communication led to the man getting escorted outside by the pit bosses as supermodels imported from Miami seeked shelter from the 'card game'.:argue:

Captain Morgan's flair was ever-present all weekend, capped with a cannonball-run-style maneuver on the 90 headed home Sunday. Seems all drivers do not understand proper passing edicate, especially near truck/trailer combinations, so he calmly engaged his safety strobe light warning system and made an example of a young driver. Safety was restored and traffic continued on, except for one guy with a completely blown gasket.

Need to mention Bad Habit's Mike and Kevin, who selflessly gave of themselves to help determine if some young girls were indeed US citizens. To protect all of A Bay's safety, these two had the girls remove their outer garments and demonstrate that they held no weapons or contraband on their person. So as not to be accused of hispanic racial profiling, they brought up some local caucasians also to 'interrogate'. An amazing display of public outreach ! :lolhit:

axapowell 06-20-2012 08:36 AM

What a great summary of events...We need you in The Bay every weekend as our commentator. You certainly are qualified for the open position. A live website with ongoing play by play. We'd all be rich(er) not only monetarily but allowing others to live vicariously through us, agin serving our community.

Maybe time for reality TV to take a stab too...Who knows what it will leed too.

Thanks Kelly!

Dave

Yes it was, don't believe I have had that much fun in a boat in some time. Fired me up! Yesterday and today has the Biotch waxed and water ready, little interior detail tomorow, maybe this weekend !/?

Now where is the bobble head vid?

It went in 6/30, ahead of schedule this year!

Nice video, funny how much different it really is in the boat vs the view from the sidelines. Most fun I've had in a boat in some time. Now you just need to get the "On a Mission" segment posted up. :D

Just finished up a great weekend in the Boathouse with Ken, Jeff, Mike and Butch visiting. Amazing deal was that 650 HP at 3 AM didn't even wake me up. Boyz will be Boyz! :poopoo:

RaggedEdge 07-23-2012 06:32 PM

Jake is a Dad!!!

It would seem that our bud Jake Jenkins, aka Cooter, is the proud father of a son Jake Jr.

Congrats to Jake and Nikki on the birth of their son!!!

That would be Jase, I believe, not Jake Jr. And yes, congrats!

Probably Cooper's Marina. They used to be a Formula dealer and an Eagle dealer.

Rippem 07-31-2012 08:29 AM

yes Cooper's! It came to me about 1 am. Dealt with the son Ken? Good guy.

I think the sons name is Kevin. Bought my first Formula there. Still owned my almost new piece of s$$t Imperial. Wife was not happy with owning (paying for) two boats. That first Formula was an '88 223SS. Bought it in '92. Had 90 hours on it. All the canvas, pillows, potty, etc were still in the factory wraps!! An undertaker from Morristown bought it new from Wright's Marina. That boat was absolutely like new! I smiled every time I drove it. What a difference between that hollow kettle of junk and that Formula!!! Took it up the a$$ when I sold the Imperial. Ended up selling for less than I owed!! Live and learn.
