Hi guys! Here an ugly one! I bought it july 2004. Crackeb bellows and sank at the dock! So here are pic when I got it, and now... that looks really bad I'll tell ya. But I'm having fun doing it. You may check in the cris craft section in own a stinger tread to see what the formula may look like in couple months!

I'm not much of a brave man! And I'm not single either! ( wife + 3 daughters 8 months, 3 and 5!) Just pasionnate, and not rich enough to get a 35 footer almost new. So no payment but refurbished boat!

hey Rambunctious great video, I noticed at 3 min 50 sec into the video you show your buddies boat, anyone else notice the object flying out of the bow of the boat into the water?

A few others have commented too.
It looks like a bow passenger's hat....

but I think it is actually a seagull. I had one bounce off my hull before on that lake ( Lake Macatawa, leads to Lake Michigan)
I guess they can't fly 67.1mph like me :D

Here's my 89 292 SR1. T-454 mags, Drive Showers, Nose Cones (bought them cheap. No they didn't help, yes they look nice on the trailer). Custom Trim Tabs with huge hydraulic cylinders and a 5" stroke instead of 3.5 like all the others. Custom flat panel monitor/dvd player in cabin. The winter seems long, have to keep busy on projects.

BTW, anybody use cleaver props on one of these? I have some 23p and they didn't seem any better/worse than my Mirage Plus'. How about 4 blade Hydromotives? I'd like to break 70, but with current setup and no motor mods (except carbs), I'm stuck at 69.1 gps.

DUDE...sorry I stole you music in my video, but it was before I saw your's.

Here's the difference between yours and mine...

Yours...ROUGH WATER
Mine....Mirror smooth water (not good for top end)
Yours...5+ minutes long
Mine...less then 3
Yours...you have a friend getting some shots of you
Mine... No friends around that day
Yours...Your boat still runs...
Mine...3 hours after the video was shot...Only one motor still running...

Hence, the repower! Can't wait till spring to see what the NEW power bring her.

Sorry for Hijacking the music...I find something new for the next one!

the whole combo as pictured is polished up and serviced, resting comfortably clean and dry in the big building.

driving the "farm truck" GMC around and to work this next couple nights 'till it stops raining. when I say "farm truck" I mean it...bought it from a farmer.
there is so much cowsh!t packed in under the ripped rubber floor mat...well, you can imagine! :eek:

I don't let it sit with the windows up! I gotta rip out that mat and take a putty knife and the hose to it...it probably still won't go away...like the valet B.O. that got in Sienfeld's car.

I would not even ask a chick to get in it! (well maybe for the ride home :evilb: )

It's pretty much just to throw rocks and lumber at, haul junk around, use it for a yard truck...and then take a shower! :p

it burns a combo of 80% gasoline, 10% coolant, and 10% oil!

I'll launch the boat the next nice day(s)! Sunday? It looks like rain on/off 'till then.
