Update:

Spoke with Wyatt last night and the push is on. R3 and the crew are busy doing final rigging. We had a small issue with exhaust clearance on one motor..but it got resolved. There were a few hoses, wires and fittings that had to be modified to accomidate for Eddies new setup...all parts are ordered. FPM has commited to working late and doing what it takes to get the build done on time....which is awesome. Eddie flys into NC on Tues 22nd to tune. We are still planning on a 5-24 lake test...and roll back to MO the evening of the 24th. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Maybe Lil R or Wyatt can post some progress pics....Id like to see some as well!!

Had a chance to run mine today water pressure is good good water flow out from inter coolers but has adverse handling effects my wife was with as always never afraid of speed but I cranked it up 85 90 heading into strong s wind dead on and it hooked to the right I never touched the wheel we both freaked a little bit it wasnt good I thought it was a gust of wind that pushed us over, cruzed down river a ways and then started coming back with the wind decided to try it again 85 90 or so and it hooked to the left again not good I dont know if its blowout [ no rpm increase ] or the bullett skiing trying to lift the stearn up , I felt better with the sportmaster lower . Erick im curious to see how yours handles Im at a loss right now .

....Dean!! Im sorry to hear that man. Did you raise drives up on transom any or just install the -4's? I cant remember?? Were you running a -2 SC before? Thank God you guys didn't get hurt. An unexpected hook at any speed let alone 90+ MPH is NOT GOOD. Do you think the new wheels are giving you too much stern lift and stuffing the bow? Talk to me Goose....

Just went from standard SCX and -2 sportmasters to full-4 so yes went up 2 more inches wasnt a harsh hook but like someone grabs the bow and pulls you over , gets your attn !!!!! . I dont know if if higher is better or what ??? it does get on plane good though hold about 3000 and crawls up just dont dare to run at speed this way .
