arnesons are more expensive then a 6?

I just want to know what you guys do to get all the money,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, need any help

Boat did 122 with 5 dudes in it (4 were 200+ lbs). Given this, I would guess that if it were light on fuel and one guy..it has 125ish in it as it sits now.

If we can pick up 8MPH with the 6's...then Id be happy. Six Drives are way faster than my lowers...plus we would then have great peace of mind with the setup.

Plus they look cool as hell...
The coolness you cant argue that , I hope it works out for you Eric , cant wait to see the process , we need a hydrodynamics expert on here to explain I cant believe it would make that much difference .

Arnesons are supposed to be cheaper than bravo setup I thought , and I wonder if Eric can adopt an older guy like me ???

I know he doesnt have the -4 lowers but are they that fat and bulbus even with his drives as high as they are ? I mean how much material is really dragging through the water ?

The way I understand it is this:

1. The gears in the SCX are HUGE..and they create a tremendous amound of friction/HP loss.

2. They are immersed in a $hitload of oil thus creating more HP loss. Whereas the #6 is a dry-sump setup.

3. The X dim will likely go up higher when we go to #6 setup. Our X is high...but not insanely high.

4. The standard SCX lower is HUGE...the #6 lower is like a Ginsu knife.

5. I like girls with huge fake tit$.

I live in a van down by the river....

So are they going to fill and recut your transom , raise or lower your starboard engine as well as move it forward ? this van is it stationary or are you using it to pull the boat ?
