Going to stick with #6's. After talking with R3 its a better fit and does actually end up being much less expensive. We are pretty much comitted to going with a used set up 6 drives....just cant afford to go new.

Rik with Arneson was very helpful and according to R3 his drives would work great on our boat. The #6's are just easier to find new, and are quite a bit less work to install.

I am trading the "Mobile Stabbin Cabin" for the drives...lol

This decision was actually not one that we were forced to make...for once. I just wanted a faster, more reliable setup and the right buyer just happend to come along for our SCX's. I just hope we can come across the right set of numbr6's before next spring for the right price. If not, Ill move in with Dean and roll with him.

This thread has been going on for well over a year. Do you think that you will ever get your piece of **** running? Ever???? I am surprised that a big time boater like yourself would ever let a few bucks get in the way of the right decision, but it appears you are cutting corners whenever you can! Cracks me up. So many people have projects and shoot their mouth of early in the process that money really doesn't matter, and then guess what, money matters!

I guess that this last summer YOU were the ones smoked by the Bayliners (the ones that you ridiculed in the past, as at least they were on the water!

It makes me puke to read this thread after you spew all of your hate on other threads like you are something special. Just another guy with a broke boat that evidently cannot afford to fix it! They do rent paddleboats and canoes at Tablerock, and I understand the water is awesome down there (this is true, Tablerock is a great lake). I'd come down with my little 24 to race you, but with your big bad Fountain still broke, I won't waste the gas.

I typically do not make posts like this except is the case of this azzwipe!
