From what I understand from talking to your customers it's what you can't see that makes the biggest difference. Like one of them said not having your drives blueprinted by WCM, would be like trying to aline your race car with a yard stick.

Dropped boat off at FPM on tue's, got to met Reggie III, and Wyat. Nice people, went over what they are going to do to the boat, and got a shop tour. they got some neat stuff going on. Can't wait to see how mine will turn out. Hopefully Imco ships my drives this week!

KWright 04-19-2012 02:34 PM

Im so pissed those didnt come out till after we raised our drives 6ft.....lol. I wonder if somehow...someday figure out a way to mount the -4 lower to the standard SCX upper? :drool1: I could space them down...and it would be money! But......I doubt that will happen...lol.

I could then use our SCX lowers for battering rams.

LOL...you have no idea. I guess someone is trying to send me a message for the things I did in the past...

Regardless of my $hitty luck I hope all works out for you....keep us posted on the results.

How much speed you think you will pick up? Any plans to supercharge it in the future? You have the drives...now put some power to that bytch. :evilb:

Hoping to run high Nineties or break 100. Yes power shouldn't be a problem now. Haven't really decided on which way to go with power, got a few ideas but need to get drives sorted out first.

KWright 05-01-2012 04:49 PM

Waiting for tank to come back from chrome. hopefully they will run it end of this week begining of next, also have them putting on new short windsheild and doing a little gel work by the engine vents.

They look sweet with the short winshields. I have a tall one and I'd have to change the enclosure pieces too if I ever shortened mine. I wonder how much wind drag/mph loss that creates.

Someone told me I should leave the trailer hooked to the truck too. C'mon, what're they think'n? Then I'd have to get the boat all lined up again.
