I 'm thinking 1 mph for the lower WS
7 miles per hour for the lowers and props.

Plus 5 mph cause Reggie set it up :D

Tomorow I believe
Yes. Maybe not right now but yes
Temp was 90 with high humidy yesterday with really effects n/a

1 MAIDEN AMERICA 05-08-2012 07:39 PM

What prop? What was your best MPH before?
Can I have some of your pressure? I'm still fighting low pressure on one engine. I'm gonna change back to the plastic pump on that engine and see what it does. While I'm at it I'm gonna try pulling water from the drive and ditch the through hulls.

17x30 16* boat ran real good handled good. I have a real safe tune in the motors right now. Set up On the fat side for cool weather should be able to pull another 3-400 rpm. More concerned about cruise speed at 42-4500. Real happy with the #'s

I get 8, 10 psi all the time w stock merc pumps pulling from the drives. I even have the coolers being fed off the same system.

If that boat went 90 before. It's gonna go 99 when he is done with it

Reggie took boat out this morning for testing. Bracket on engine hatch cover decided to go south. needless to say, the rescue and recover mission for the engine hatch was a success.:eekdrop:

KWright 05-10-2012 02:26 PM

I bet that was a holey shyt moment. look back and seeing that flying thru the air!

A little damage under the hatch where the latches go, and of course the ram bracket. Im sure they are more than qualified to fix it all. I could think of worse things that could of happened.

1 MAIDEN AMERICA 05-10-2012 03:58 PM

So you're so fast now that you blew your own doors off? But really, how fast was it without the hatch on? those things are heavy!!! Probably cooler air too.

mcprodesign 05-10-2012 06:40 PM

TRL505 05-10-2012 07:11 PM

After careful deliberation I have decided that I will be in the cabin during the test run...so as to avoid decapitation...:evilb:

Same....FPM was doing high speed runs...popped the hatch for some ram-air induction. Boat was going so fast it ripped off hatch, boat went back to shop to pick up scuba divers, hatch recovered. Owner wants more speed...Rear bench seating being removed for a full stagger set up...should run 125mph (very unstablish), but faster than you....lol:lolhit:

Busy weekend at home, Reggie is going to run it again this week I'm going to pick it up on friday. It is a bit over proped. this works out good for me, cause I have a couple things left to do with the motors. I'm going to end up being down 5-600 rpm. so it should be fine. the speed when it leaves FPM sould be 94 mph. so it will leave me some room for improvement after we finish the motors.

It was one they had left over, so best bet would be to contact Wyat or Reggie, I can say this their prices are very fair. I got alot more done than I was hoping too because of the good deal thay gave me. I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else great people to deal with.

KWright 05-22-2012 07:44 PM

Just got home from getting my boat back. Ended up with gaining 5 mph. Old set up was p5x hydros 29 pitch on xrs 5500 rpm 88 mph, new set up 30 pitch herings scx-4 5300 rpm 93 mph. Both these were made full of fuel and gear 3 people on board. I am currently over pitched but that is fine because this winter a few upgrades to motors will put me at my target rpm. Boat gets up on plane easy and runs straight and true. spent yesterday am on the water with Reggie and Rlll. Driving lesson from Sr. was great he sure has alot of little tricks.
