Gino I was at the launch in Jacksonville when you pick up your baby.Drove it straight on didn't see much stress only a man living the American dream!!If your doc was so worried
you would be in the ER. Sounds like he knows the problem all ready.Don't ever give up your passion, that's what puts people in the box. Just try not to sweat the things you can't control anyway.Good Luck & ask the dock if you can lower the
boost level a bit. Keith

Gino,
Hang in there dude! See what the doc has to say, and then decide from there. Boating for me is a stress RELIEVER! Especially since I don't use the boat ramp anymore!
Let us know what the doc says
Take care,
Dean

Thank all of you for the advice and good wishes. I'm sure there will be a solutuion. It is true that most of the stress is launching the boat, check oils, cleaning etc. I guess if I got someone to do that stuff it would help out. I should put ac as well. Hopefully when he checks the computer tomorrow to see why it was triggered it was just a fluke thing. Maybe he just needs to put a higher rev linter in it. Either way, I'm sure it will work out. Thank you all again for everything!! It made my night reading all of the posts after a very tough day!

WOW! I could only imagine how it felt at the time and now with the thought of having to stop boating. Good luck and (most importantly) Good health.

Gino, we are boaters, it's who we are, not just our hobby. Someone that doesn't have it will not understand it. As others have said, do what you need to do to stay healthy. But even if it means hiring a captain/crew/whatever or going to a bigger, slower boat, don't give it up. There is nothing that will fill the gap and your life will be poorer for it. Wishing you the best, we're pulling for you.

I saw this thread this morning, thought about it all day.

Keep boating, teach your girlfriend/better half to drive like you can.

Live every minute. Have someone that can take over if needed...........F. the consequences.

It's your life, GO FOR IT

I plan to

There is a lot of good advice here. Let me add when you read you doctors bill for the tune up make sure your in his office.

All problems have a solution and I'm sure you will find one. I don't think its the boat, its probably the work related to launching. Dockominium or something similar sounds like a good idea. The extra kill switches and always taking a mate are also good ideas.

Feel better
