This holding fixture was built at the time of Prototype,it held the bulkheads and then the hatch grid system, here we are getting ready to do the splash well.

Another of the Iron Maiden holding the bulkheads. Sides with Cross spars are still on the mold

The parts going in the Cat had to be cut very close as there was no room for error,This pneumatic clamping jig was built and the patterns were held down and Frames or whatever were cut out on this table which allowed both hands on the machine and quick setup..

We got a visit from the Boss he liked the boat. The cutting table had every glass pattern needed to build this Cat ,someone who never saw that boat could cut any piece for it right away.

Foaming the roof corrugated steel gets super hot and the 40 tons of AC in the Glass shop become non existent ,inside you could physically feel where the edge of the foam was. we painted it with white latex paint.

Here is a cut job I did, they had a Cat with the steps in the last quarter of the boat, the thing was dragging the keels and ran however it pleased,I cut 5 feet out of the middle from the front step foreward.

The now shortened front was cut in the chine and sides flared open to match the geometery of the aft section and a piece of steel was bent around it fairing it pretty close it was through bolted with all thread bolts that way if a nut got resintited the outer nut would release it.

Those pieces on the sides are 2" steel channel.
