This boat had 225's on it, full of fuel with three people during military testing it ran 76-78 MPH in 115 degree heat and hot water with stock props and the engines low.(they did not want any trickery) here I could get another 12 miles an hour easy in good Ole Florida water and tweaking the setup.

That was a cool boat to own, being a rare boat it would draw a crowd,I would for sure spend time looking at it. Sorry for your loss.

yea this is a great issue, good article on the Gougeon brothers to. I also see a little sidebar on Phenomenon and even a pic of US1's Skater

I look forward to that magazine more then any other.

The Gougeon Brothers were or are quite the Iceboaters also.
U.S. and I think World Champs in the DN class a few years back .. they know their boat building on the water and ice

They made epoxies simple for everyone to use with the packaging the pumps and the tech backup, good job.

Steve i have a question that has eluded me for years . . . . is gelcoat one word or two?



while we're on the subject of gelcoat, i am looking for a gelcoat and wetout gun, have any recommendations? Know of anything for sale? Whats your opinion of Phoenix? Magnum? GS?
