Agree, but now is the time to get ready not when they are washing up on the beach, I live on Gulf blvd so I would be the first to see animals on the beach. Better to know what to do or better what NOT TO DO. I am all for the animals and enviroment but not at the expense of my own health.

Just read this whole thread and now my brain hurts... Anybody in AL, LA, MS seen any oil in their water that is affecting the boating? I'm in Navarre / Destin and no signs yet. I herd it hasn't hit orange beach yet either... I really hope it stays away from here but I think it's just a matter of time. it's a bummer, hopefully someone will step up and take care of this mess.

No oil yet, but if you listen to the NEWS, everyone should stay at home and sell their boat.

What is the game plan for the little Bay in Destin that the water gets pumped in from a few miles off shore?

I'm not sure where your talking about... I would guess if there is oil they turn the pump off, seems simple enough...
