I feel bad for everyone on the boat but I am glad it wasn't much worse. The big man upstairs was watching out is all I can say.

Who gives a **** if it was a poker or fun run. To much throttle, to many people, not enough common sense, PERIOD. Infact being that he was going to be on TV, he might have let his ______ hang a little more then usual( not that we all havn't did it) But this time he got bit, Still would never let them hang with that many people on.. By my self or with a good buddie is different

wow, seeing the frame by frame is really something.
this video is everywhere/nationwide. making a bad reputation worse. I'd like to hear what the driver thinks now in hindsight.

They even showed it on the local news here in Maine too.

Did anyone notice the passenger on the swim platform in the beginning of video? The boat is in gear and the driver appears to be oblivious of what his passengers are doing back there. Under no circumstances do I ever put my boat in gear unless I see with my own eyes that my passengers are off the platform, sunpad and are in the boat. Years ago I witnessed a passenger on another boat fall off a swim platform while the boat was in gear and cut his foot on the prop requiring stitches - could have been a lot worse! This is just another one of the drivers many mistakes.

I hope all involved are doing well.

My 1st post - since joining in 2005!
