Only a Skater or Apache or copy or reproduction or any variance of the above that resembles a boat will be allowed to paricipate in the said Onion Run.
Kinda left it wide open:party-smiley-004:

I have always wondered how cats and V's will compare. Wish there were head to head testing in magazines but whoever loses would stop placing ads in that magazine, that would happen every time a new issue comes out till the mag goes under. :lolhit:

But seems to me that a CAT would win in the rough, especially if it has a faster top speed, up to a certain wave height, then the V would win, since it can still transverse the waves even if it has to slow down, where the cat will stuff if it has to slow down, lose the air packed in the tunnel, waves start slapping the bottom of the hull, etc etc.

Hopefully its rough and we can find out! I will be there thats for sure!

just my 2 cents here, i know it is a ton of work to put a fun run like this together. but doing it in june you are fighting with all the summer vacation crowd for dock space and the chances of waves are slim. cold water and warm air makes small waves. like june well bring. move to the the 3rd week of september after hot boat weekend and you have a great chance for some real seas and less traffic at the docks. warm water and cool/cold wind makes the biggest waves. just a thought. btw this is not a pontoon & bass boat run, it's the onion run.

+1

The intent is to shake these boats down, not look at your beautiful reflections in the glassy water. :party-smiley-004:

I understand your point but have been boating on that Lake all my life, you know we can take your advice and that month and I could be boat surfing for 60 miles I went with June because of participators feedback of who could make it and conflict of other events,
Its 1' - 2' today Noaa
Don't think we can all rush there like the surfer dudes when there is a b!tchen wave this would be cool and I am sure some can!

Lousy at Clementines at St Joe, need to talk to Pier 33 or I have never been at the other Clementines need some feed back!
Pastrick had concerns about water level where we used to tie up on the wall ? but said they would have room and close to the Casino hotel, still in communications with Mark at Hammond ran out of time over Thanksgiving as Hammond was closed on Sat.
Going back in 3 weeks.
Thanks Jim
