Mexican assembled 2002 Dodge 2500 V-10. Now has 130,000 miles. Been in the shop once for a trans issue at 92, 000 miles.
Still tows great, eats gas and some rust but it was paid off 10 years ago.

Sigh, here we go. Please provide a link to ANY CTS built in europe and shipped back the the US. If your going to run your mouth atleast get your **** straight. And you want to know why the handfull of posters on this thread are attempting trying to expaine the ignorence of the outspoken big 3 detractors? Non fact based opinions like yours. I would suggest Google on the first attempt for fact finding.

Post #175 is a pic of the build sticker on my 2004 CTS , proof of origin . Notice the paint in that 04 door jam , like new and waxed .

We all grew up as GM kids. But after all of that my 82 year old Dad still holds on to a '78 Toyota Cressida that has that bad a$$ inline 6 that was in the Supras years ago. He loves the thing...it has over 300.000 miles on it and will still break 100!!! I felt so bad about him driving around in the damn thing...air doesn't work, power windows won't go up and down, etc....so I bought him an off lease MB E 350. He loved it but traded it in on a Cadillac CTS V with a 6 speed!!! He has bad knees and the clutch works on him a little but he's an old hot rodder and "drives what he want's to drive". He still goes back and forth driving the Toyota because "it's the only rear wheel drive sedan they built" and it feels right. I don't argue with him.....he always wins. BP discovered oil on the family farm so he is a little free with money at his age and I asked him what his preference is of all the cars he ever owned. He said he's looking for a '57 Chevy 4 door hard top with a "Power Pack" 283 with a 3 speed manual transmission. He tells me..."Son after 82 years I still come back to this fact...Detroit makes the best cars in the world...period."

Hard to argue with that.

God bless Your Father. I worked on a Cressida back then. Window motor was bad an I blamed it on the auto down switch. That was 78 LOL. Artie
