Well after reading all this ????, I am hauling all the Japan stuff to the curb. Boy not much left in the house. Guess this will have to be the end of my computer gazing, its an apple but made in china, got to go.

Oh yes I replaced my toyo puller with one of those big 3 american made units. No stickers, just good ole american made!

Color matched to boot.

And if you pull all of the "foreign made" parts out of your GM, Ford or Dodge truck, good luck trying to start or drive it. At best, they're assembled here. Well, some of them are, sort of, sometimes, never mind.

One of our prized antiques is a ceramic decanter. On the bottom instead of a pottery firms name this is marked "Made in Occupied Japan"

To truly 'get it' one must remember that this country was founded on the freedom to make one's own choice. People that do not get 'that' and berate others for their choices have missed the opportunity to fully understand our country.

Are you a veteran sport ? We Americans do not like to be told what to do period . I will not tell anyone what auto to buy anymore than i would tell you what kind of firearm you can own . I do however prefer American Made when i have that option . Politicians be damned and pass the ammo !!

My question is this, do all you guys that say you would only buy American cars/trucks carry that same thought/ideal with you when purchasing other items? It would seem to me that a person boasting that they only buy American, but yet own Japanese/Chinese electronics would be some sort of hypocrite…no? I guess you have never bought a Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, NEC, Nikon, Nintendo, Toshiba, Sharp… you get the point.

BTW, I own a Dodge! But I also own some of the above company’s products.
I buy what I can. Period. And I do try. I never bought those cheap Chinese tools until SnapOn started selling them!

BTW parts on my JD combine were made in Spain. I replaced all the bearings in one piece of equipment... From John Deere, they were "made in China". They didn't make 100 acres before a failure, then another. I went back and found aftermarket Timken made in USA (bought every one they had), no more problems!
