We may not stay at fancy hotels or eat at fancy restaurants but no matter what, whether it be waiting out a storm or getting our grill on after a day of boating we always have a good time!

That looks like the east side of Lake MI, miss the dunes.

I agree 100%. My wife and I stayed in a hotel on a trip to Baltimore last year. It was the first time in a decade that we spent the night in a hotel and our only wish is that we stayed on the boat...

Agreed, memories are made on the boat, not the hotel! Nice roomy cabins are great!

As long as the weather isn't too extreme, I would also rather stay on the boat.

Rarely, and I mean very rarely do people raft up and anchor somewhere to hang out for the day. Also, most of the people I know return to their home port at night unless it is a holiday weekend. Up here we think nothing of running 40 miles to Block island, hang out, and run 40 miles back in the same day.

I'm not sure I agree with that at all. I too enjoy the bar hopping (as you well know), but I know tons of people in our area that rafting makes up a significant part of their summer... including myself. Many, possibly the majority, of my best memories are from rafting and or going places like Montauk or Block Island and staying the night or weekend on the boat!

I personally prefer to do overnights on the boat. I like that I don't have to watch the clock, end the party early, worry about the safety of my crew in the darkness, or worry so much about getting pinched leaving... which after 'meeting' the CT and NY CG and state /local po-po several times last year, this is becoming a growing concern on the water in our area!

I shouldn't but.... allow me to retort to the surprised OL response.

Pure vinylester resin, full urethane stringers and transom. No plywood, polyester and, lastly, no reputation to a boat compared to aviation, which I assume, is in flight.

On the dock in Miami in two weeks. See us. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I don't think Mike is throwing you or your boats under the buss. He is simply selling his brand. I thought that was sales 101. Talk about what is different with your brand. I think your boats are fine. I boat with friends that have AT's. I am just always waiting for them. I think a better comparison to AT is Baja.

These pictures are comforting...as a young single guy I kinda fear the whole wife/kids thing somewhat because I think it could be the end of boating, but after seeing all these pics, apparently not!
