I think he has a 37 and he *****es about it being slow. It does like 75 max.(I'm guessing). So his cruise speed is like 50. My friends with smaller Baja's go faster.

Who owns Baja these days anyway? I love my baja. A couple of my friends at the lake where I keep that Baja have Fountain's and run past me all the time. Its all in good fun. At the end of the day we are all just boating. :)

I'm not sure which boat that would be but a 37 AT will run 75 with a pair of 496's and there is only a couple of those. The 525 boats run 83-85 and I don't think that is too bad. You have obviously not looked at the brand much to make the comparison to Baja as they have nothing in common. Now don't get me wrong as I have nothing against Baja but how do you compare a stock order old school straight bottom boat with a custom built boat with excellent craftsmanship and thier awesome hull.

I'm sorry. It was implied, at least I believe, that I use polyester resin and plywood coupled with Autometer gauges.

AT was using full urethane stringers and transom before just about everybody. We have never used anything less that Hydrex pure vinylester resin and high density Divinycell coring and vacuum bagged. Never a hull failure, Ever. As far as Autometer gauges? We combine some Livorsi analog gauges with digital screens as well. I like it. I like to be able to see a red needle when I am running on my tachs, OP and temp gauges. But that is just me. I really have no use for a GPS.

The new 33 that will be at the Miami Show in 2 weeks will have 2 new Garmin 8210 GPSs with a 7" Vessel View full color Mercury display. These will be tied into a the new Fusion audio head unit which has bluetooth. Also the boat is equipped with a Nighthawk thermal night vision camera. So we can watch a DVD on the passenger dash at the same time stream Netflix on the driver's screen and see in the dark on the 7" Vessel view. But just in case I want to know what the heck is going on in the back we are putting in 2 oil pressure and 2 water temperature, good ol' Livorsi gauges to make it idiot-proof. Not sure if the gauges take it out of the high-tech arena. If so my bad.....They were all out of Autometers.

The new AT 37 Xcess will be on the finger pier in the Mercury display right next to the 36 Outerlimits. You can compare them side by side yourself.

I will have a cold Miller Lite in my hand right about 5:00. And if I have to take a leak I will simply stand up in the enclosed head and use an electric toilet. Oh, the comforts of home..... I love my beer.

Oh yeah, and Active Thunder is still in business after two decades with the same guy writing the checks. Unlike Baja, Fountain, Donzi, Sonic, Powerplay, Black Thunder, Apache, Powerquest, Wellcraft, etc.
