25' Wellcraft 350 mag (1986) Blue and White. Great boat!

Dad had a late 60s model tri-hull in the late 70s. I think it was a starcraft with a 40hp Johnson. I was 16 and convinced him to let me take it to the lake overnight w/my buddies. Woke up the next morning missing a fishing pole and forward gear on the motor Had to run 3-4 miles in reverse back to the ramp... long trip. Dad was convinced I was thrashing it.

After bumming on friends and family boats forever, I bought my own finally.
1989 Sea Raider w/90hp Merc. Great boat in nice shape. Bought and sold for the same money after 2 great seasons.

1983 ChrisCraft Scorpion 230 w/sbc. Totally rebuilt the boat over 6mos and had it looking pretty good then sold to a close friend for less that I had into it.

Now I have a 30 Velocity w/twin BBC. I'm a firefighter.

1st boat dad bought - 16' Whitehouse. Anybody remember those? I think they lasted one year when builders realized there had to be stringers in the boat. The last time we went offshore fishing in it, we both swore to never run a cheap built boat again. Every wave we were betting the floor was gonna go. Sold the motor, gave the boat with it telling the new owners to scrap the boat. Nope, they sunk it 1st trip.
