Your dealer can help you work through the specifics they know way more than I.
ha. Funny you should mention that. I too was thinking the same. I was going to try and work out timing with the dealer as well. I’m going through SoFlo as I have a good relationship with them and love some of their builds. Bob has also been pivotal in pushing Nor-Tech to make some really nice changes and/or up the optioning list. So, looking forward for my move back to Florida so I can start boating with you all!

Default Gator

great advice. Your dealer has to have a slot or you won’t get one next year. They put deposits on build times. My understanding they are into November of this year for start dates. You wait until August you won’t see a boat until November of 2019 if your lucky

Default 34' Nor Tech

I was at Nor Tech May 15th and Geoff told me my 34' would go into rigging the following week, but didn't give me a finish date, any idea's when? Guess?

If it actually went into lamination the following week it's approx 4mos give or take and definitely dependent on the paint work you did or didn't opt for.
Memorial Day & 4th of July holidays can also contribute to delays.
They are building a new building specifically for rigging so any transition to it may also cause a delay. Eventually the new building and 2nd spray booth should yield efficiencies.

My guess is Mid-Oct

I was anticipating an early March commencement, but just hit the mold two weeks ago. Frustrating, but nothing we can do about it.
As long as the final product remains as good as they’ve been, will be worth the wait.
