Is Victory making a pleasure boat cat that would be a sister-ship of the Raymarine raceboat? If yes, what is the price point compared to a similar DW? I’ve always liked Skater and MTI cats, but I am really impressed with the Victory raceboat and DWs.

That could be. All I know is if you look at a 36 DW and you look at a P360 they look almost identical :drink:
I am not in a position to say which one is "better" (my boats are a collaboration) but there are differences in the boats and I would suggest that buyers ride in both, investigate the construction and finish processes of both, and look at them closely. At the end of the day competition always creates a better product and value for us as consumers. I am a huge fan of Doug's designs and blessed to have a few of them. The performance and race results of his designs and creations speak for themselves. Joe |

which one of the 42’s is yours, The blue one or the needs more cowbell one? Also what speed have you got out of your 42 so far?
Two Docs has the Blue-the top end numbers are crazy. I was in the latest P420 and did not expect to see what the screen was showing us. They are refining production processes with infusion and closely watching weight consistency. For a 42' boat with only 1000 hp, these speed results were only a dream not long ago and still are for many other manufactures. Joe |

What is this talk about quality about? Race level fit-and-finish, or something else? |

Oh maybe I made a mistake. I assumed he had a Doug Wright (Waves & Wheels) not a Performance Powerboat.

Might be helpful if someone could chime in on the differences between a Wright Performance, Performance Powerboat, and a W&W DWR...

Mike has the blue Waves and Wheels 42, I was referring to the Performance 420 that I was just in last week.
