In Alphabetical order because they all are badass! There's a few other good options also so keep us updated on what you decide!

I have one and it rides and performs awesome

The P360 and DW 360 have differences. Performance made tunnel changes to improve the boat and it did. Performance also had new CNC molds made for their 360 production. Performance also made significant changes to the 42' (all new deck design and complete CNC molds for its production). They had a long relationship with DW and successfully accelerated DW into the pleasure boat world after the attempt was first made by John "KAP" back in 2015 with his 32'. After Performance departing their relationship and a nightmarish 3 year run with outside management, Doug is back at his shop designing and building boats for Waves and Wheels. Justin (Waves and Wheels) is a very passionate promoter and is also bringing Doug into the public side of boating (Doug is not a "want to be in the spotlight type guy").

I am not in a position to say which one is "better" (my boats are a collaboration) but there are differences in the boats and I would suggest that buyers ride in both, investigate the construction and finish processes of both, and look at them closely. At the end of the day competition always creates a better product and value for us as consumers. I am a huge fan of Doug's designs and blessed to have a few of them. The performance and race results of his designs and creations speak for themselves.

Two Docs has the Blue-the top end numbers are crazy. I was in the latest P420 and did not expect to see what the screen was showing us. They are refining production processes with infusion and closely watching weight consistency. For a 42' boat with only 1000 hp, these speed results were only a dream not long ago and still are for many other manufactures.

Oh maybe I made a mistake. I assumed he had a Doug Wright (Waves & Wheels) not a Performance Powerboat.

As it should.

What is this talk about quality about? Race level fit-and-finish, or something else?

Mike has the blue Waves and Wheels 42, I was referring to the Performance 420 that I was just in last week.

Might be helpful if someone could chime in on the differences between a Wright Performance, Performance Powerboat, and a W&W DWR...

A Wright Performance was a collaboration between Doug Wright and Performance Boat Center (most are 36's, a couple 32's, and a couple 42's). The boats were laid up at the factory in Florida, and then shipped to Performance Boat Center to be rigged and painted. When that partnership ended, Performance started their own facility building, rigging, and painting the boats, now called a Performance Powerboat (They have a P280, P360, and P420). A W&W Doug Wright is a collaboration between Waves and Wheels and Doug Wright. The owner of W&W has a % of ownership in DW. Boats are laid up in Florida at the factory and then shipped to Waves and Wheels to be painted and rigged.

Got it. I was in that Waves and Wheels blue 42 right when it was completed. Very nice boat. But I will say first the size of the interior wasn’t good, very tight when compared to the Performance Powerboats 42 I was in, First Born, which was an amazing boat by the way. But both boats were amazing at the end of the day.
