I am glad that chuck posted his friends concern on this site because I am concidering a pantera for my next boat and I will be very intrested in the out come of this situation before making my decision. I will say that this is the first bad thing that I have heard about pantera, but I also know chuck and I think he is a pretty straight shooter and I don't think he would say the things he said without a real good reason. I would like to see a responce from Jo on this matter.

Thanks GLH, but I wish you didn't post my boat. Some of these guys seem pretty upset about negative comments about Pantera. Don't need any aggravation out there. (LOL). I'm really amazed at the range of comments. I do hope that Pantera posts. I just hope that this helps get the boat delivered.

I've never been to the Pantara Boat company. I'm going down there in April during spring break when my son is out of school. I would like to see the operation and see how many employees they have. You can tell alot about a company when you visit them. I visited Velocity down in Daytona. After my visit I'd never purchase a boat from them. A picture is worth a thousand words>>>>

Most custom boat manufacturers can't float production. If you want that, buy a Baja. When you're building a custom boat, what happens if the buyer decides he doesn't want the pink bowrider with tripple 500's. Without a the majority of the money up front, the builder would be screwed. Also the custom builders are smaller than the production boat builders, and they don't have as much money to buy engines, bolsters, and other parts. There has to be trust between the builder and seller. Although I understand the frustration, I really think you couldn't pick a better custom builder to trust.
