If you have nothing and the fluid is not being pumped, he may have set the pump up for reverse rotation by accident. Start the motor up and crack a line loose to see if you have any fluid movement in the hoses. You cant really put the shuttle valve together wrong. Usually when the dont work, its the pump housing is clocked wrong.

Sorry for the bad news if thats it. You will have to pull it out.

This same exact thing happened to me last season, but with both sides. Had to pull them both...I was not happy.

I installed trans pressure gauges & senders...but I can't get them to work..I ran 14 gauge wires to the gauges...I have a good ground..I turn the ignition on and the needles move up 3/16''..I installed the senders in the 1/8 pipe plug next to where the old temp sender was 3/8 pipe...I noticed another 1/8 plug on the front cover..I was told thats "reverse" pressure... ??gauges and senders are Livorsi...

The 3/8 plug is the line pressure.
