my soon to be father in law bought a rover two years ago, I warned him they had a bad rep but he was all happy had wanted one for a long time, he had it one year and drove it three months, it was in the shop every two weeks, all the warning lights on, electrical nightmare

I went with Lunati pistions which I believe are manufactured by Ross?

At the time JE wanted to sell me a set of flat tops they would mill a dish into but I wasn't all that excited about it. We liked the skirt design and the thickness between the top of the piston and the first ringland.

I would say use whatever works best for your application.

how about changing to a dart 10.600 block to reduce rod angle
