Also will be nice to see if you gain rpm with your doms and no other changes. I would guess you will.

Like last year, lots of changes going on. The entire fuel system is being upgraded, -3 Imco's vs -2 Sportmasters, Daytona ignitions vs TB, and Eickerts vs Gils. As a whole there will be some improvement, but how much does each contribute? Who knows. I sent back the Dart adaptors today, so hopefully I can get some of Jason's adaptors, otherwise I'll go to my original plan which was the HVH super sucker adaptors.

I used a very similar spacer last year on my enigines. It was a 1.5" Wilson tapered 4 hole spacer. Now I need a 4150 to 4500 adaptor spacer.

I'm running those right now. I'm going to try my new ones and see if RPM's/MPH increase. I will try 1" to 4". It's nice to have space between carb and hatch!

When Smitty dyno'd my carbs he used a 1" 4 hole and a 1" open spacer, so I have the same thing with one less gasket.

I decided today to just swap out the intakes and be done with it. I ordered 2 Brodix HV2001's. I've been looking at this intake for while and after a conversation with Getrdunn this morning, we both agreed that is the best intake. I'll post later how all this turns out.

Lot of guys been doing that. Just depends on build/combo and what the engine likes best. Trial and error.

Good move mike. I had two on order before I ended up going sc. There an excellent intake with good runner length. Will need a little work though. I run the HV 1200 on my 421 sbc in the 73z. Pulls extremely hard.
