count me in on that one also but no damage, just slush. Sorry but I run the good Prestone green through my stuff and doesn't even go to waste. What comes out the exhaust it goes into a batch of radiator soup for my bittchy neighbors. Lol...

After draining the exhaust and coolers and raw pump, pull lower hose from circ pump. Drain. Reattach lower hose. Remove thermostat housing. Fill with straight-not 50/50-antifreeze to top of intake. Now you have enough in the block and heads to dilute the water left over in bottom of block. Another option is remove water pump and make a skinny extension hose for a shop vac. If you can get it down 3 or 4 inches you will suck out most of the remaining water. Reinstall pump and fill with straight antifreeze.

IMHO - as already said - refill the engines until they pump out -100 antifreeze. Even if you are over cautious and fill the system and purge the system with 8+ gallons a side... helluva lot less $$$$ and aggravation than replacing a crack. Cheap insurance in the long run and pumps/seals drying out and corrosion are at bay with the block/system full

Those are 2001 mercruiser 540 tall deck bulldog blocks. Gm obviously. The junk yard bought both of them off of me for 20 bucks. You can see how much time mercruiser spends on preperation by all the hand grinding inside the blocks.
