Yeah, I've noticed that. Though, I can't really get too upset, I bought this thing with no real knowledge of how/when/if these motors had any real work done to them in the last 20 years. Best I can tell, the motors were redone in 2003-2004 with no evidence of being opened up since, and somewhere around 450-500 hours on them since then.
Even if I had the leakdowns done prior to purchase I don't know that it would have been bad enough to make me not buy it.
When I bought the Cigarette, I bought it with the knowledge that the motors were recently built, and got a false sense of security about the likely reliability of what turned out to be very sub-par builds.

There's a very high probability the valve stuck in the guide to cause the bent pushrod and banged up rocker. Only time will tell.

Excellent reminder, thanks. we have a lot of salt in the air here.
I got the intake pulled tonight. Intake manifold gaskets are quite badly deformed in multiple locations.
Also found the #5 intake pushrod bent, albeit less severely compared to #5 exhaust pushrod. No visible damage to #5 intake valve or rocker.
Exhaust ports of the headers definitely show some rusty coloration in multiple locations.
