K&N flame arrestor 496HO
#2
My personal experience was it did absolutely nothing and was a waste of time because the stock arrester is max free breathing. In fact i made one pass without an arrester at all just to sanity check the concept and got nothing when I had my single 288. But the K&N is very cheap compared to a 502 version, so it might be worth it just for cosmetics...

At the very least it filters the air... with twins there is plenty of "belt dust" that can get in there so I say get them since they are so cheap. FYI - it's provides no performance improvement but it will make the "hissing" noise from your induction disappear and offer filtration which the stock flame arrestor will not.
