Was pulled over 4 times in 07. The Fountain is at the legal limit depending on how it's checked. This year I have not been pulled over once. Maybe I've paid my dues? Think they will turn the other way when WickedWon heads out the channel next spring? Anyone have a severe duty transom bracket and outboard for sale? I'm staying.

Yeah, we saw some other boats beached there near us. Anyway, we launched in the beautiful/cool and cozy little town of South Haven. My friend also had his 32' AT and keeps his boat on a lift way up the river most of the season there. For the last 3 years he has had dry, open exhaust, but he only idles on one engine. Not sure if the marine water patrol was on duty, but we didn't see any of their boats this past Saturday. So far, we have found that if you're a "cool customer" they won't mess with you----and the same goes for St. Joseph.

i have been running down tubes for 2 1/2 years now (in gh only). i do miss the rumble. but i don't miss getting pulled over. i watch petty close for the law. i aways give them a big wave from aways away. and i don't drink more then a couple of drinks on the boat. i have seen a lot of boats this year with no mufflers or tubes not get pulled over this year. with the cottage and my condo storage in grand haven. i guess i'm with dan. i'm staying also.

I knew my days were numbered out there, like everyone was saying they were being somewhat relaxed this year. I will put the PVC on this weekend and make another attempt to burn the gas out of this pig. Maybe Muskegon would be easier.

I'm also staying in GH, I have PVC downtubes but its a pain to remove my Drew Marine Shotguns and put the down tubes on. Its straight dry pipes to the tips once the Shotguns are off. I'll fab something up this winter. I've turned my shotguns into pnuematic already so maybe I'll put some stainless down tubes in front of them.

DONE!!!! Todd you get sand in your vagina???? You do live in Michigan right
I am going to burn the last drops of fuel out of Bad Karma this weekend. Making a river run up at Hardy to see the colors change. Cool, but a good time for a few beers with the missus.
