Hey Tom, I saw your old boat on the Delaware last season....looked good. He put some bigger power in it huh? This should be a good season for single screws on the Chesapeake this year.

Ever think of bringing the Donzi down for a run on the Chesapeake? I'll give you a Kryptonite fix but you have to reciprocate because I've been wanting to get into a Comp ever since I saw one!

Actually I will be down on the Chesapeake August 19th to the 23rd. NJPPC led by C-Spray (running his 38 Formula not the Batboat) will be doing our third annual rendezvous. We launch out of Northeast and are spending Thurs.-Sun. nites in Baltimore. We will be doing day trips each day, weather dependent. You should come to Baltimore for a day or meet up with us on one of the day drips. The itinerary is at www.NJPPC.com. I would love to go for a ride and give you a ride in the comp. I bought my Kryptonite as a stepping stone to my Comp. It is an awesome boat and I wouldn't trade it for any other v-bottom out there.

As for my old boat, I forgot who he said built it, he took my old 454ho w/ the Vortec and he had the motor punch out to 468 and everything remapped and lots of head work done and he said the motor was at 700hp. I was surprised at that number but he should see close to 100 with that set up.

Looks like a great time you guys have mapped out. Saturday looks like a fun run. I'll make sure I mark it down so we can meet up. Red Eyes and Wild Duck are both great places. I'd like to come to the Jersey shore this year also. I've only brought Jet-Ski's to the shore in the past when I went to Avalon, Sea Isle and Stone Harbor. I would love to bring the boat down but I'm going to need a escort because I'm not familiar with the water at all.

700 should push him along nicely. There is another 29 with 800hp on the bay also....it's John's (lightspeed) old boat. The new owner Phil is having the motor rebuilt now...it should be ready soon.

Hopefully my motor is done soon.

I have seen your old boat once before, down at the Chesapeake Inn last summer. I was running though, so i didnt get a chance to stop and talk to the guy.

Hey, Tom I'll look and see if I can meet up with you this summer in the bay, and you can drive your old boat!!!! Tyler Crockett did the motor work. 468 new cam, rods and pistions, stock heads with bigger valves, increased boost to 7lbs and dyno tuned. At the end of the day we ended up with 804hp @ 5400 rpms with good torque numbers too!!!!!!!!!

Hey Marty,
I am glad to see you on the board! You need to come out to Barnegat Bay this summer. That boat will be a rocket!

Damn good numbers Marty. Gonna have to run a HUGE prop to use that power at those rpm, that or change the drive ratio. Should be able to get well into the triple digits with that power.

See you out there.
