Sounds like fun. Lesley is headed down to South Carolina in a few weeks to furnish her mothers new house so I'll have time to burn.

Default Perfect Motor for the Krypto

Kryptonium dudes. I figured the binoculars would be pretty difficult to focus on my stern while underway so we are gonna scrap that idea. I did however find a great power package with plenty of torque which may help you stay up with the BCP coming outta the turns. You will need some custom mounts and probably gonna need a beefy tranny. Brochure says this will also couple right to your XR but requires a bit of finesse on the throttle. We just built this one for a guy with a superboat who would like to keep up with us. This engine is the short deck model but as you guys are not quite as fast as the superboat you may want the tall deck model which is about 6 feet taller. All engines comes with a hatch scoop cutout template which will ensure a perfect fit.

Man, you guys are making me want to be back in my Kryptonite! I loved that boat! It went to a good owner who lives in PA and boats on the Delaware. Apparently he built a motor that will give Chuck a run for his money in the Batboat! When I had it, it ran 85 with 550hp.
