It appears that when "they" build an engine they use very large ring gaps, which results in high blowby. There is no reason to do this, because it does not make power, it is not conducive to engine life, and it is just generally a pain in the ass. I was getting ALOT more than that, and it got progressively worse. Mine was so bad that the 6" breather extensions on it had fuel cell foam in them to catch oil. Well when that got clogged up in two hours it started pushing out the valve cover gaskets, and pushed out around teh BOTTOM of the breather, which has a positive O Ring seal. Dont buy into the BS that it is just crank windage. You have a 509ci right?? Shouldnt have any significant windage at all. You definitely need to change the oil often, because with the blowby you are getting it will get saturated with fuel very often.
Good luck man. Like I said, I will never use that builder, nor will I recommend them.

We can set the cruise at whatever is necessary. John and I usually cruise at low to mid 50's.

had a nice night last night. Put in at Elk Neck and ran to Lloyds, slept on the boat there, nice and cool in the low 60's at night, then spend most of the day there today. Boat ran great and didnt miss a beat.

Looks pretty close to me!
