Lets see what the 30's labbed to 31's will do before I cut loose the tired 575EFI's. 45 hours is a lot of hours this year. Damn, I 'm tired already.

If you were to do it again, What would you do differently? Different heads, cam, porting, etc.

Yes,
I only used 9.35 CR. I was planning to do 9.75 CR but was swayed to drop it down with Iron heads. I have run up to 10.25 CR in the past with out any problems. I think it would have been better to get it up to 9.75 with the cam I used. I did a set of Carb 500's the same, except 9.75CR, in my buddies 37 Active Thunder and his pulls very good. I probally would have done better to keep the 500 EFI cam with the lower compression. Anything below 9.25, I would use the 500 cam.

I now wish after all the work I would have done a 540 with the same setup & 9.75CR. The power increase was good for a 502 but you allways want more.
