I was told it was a 60 footer and they lost their dog in the fire but that's not confirmed. I did hear a Sea Tow call yesterday some idiot in a 30 footer got to close to the wreck and tangled his prop in its anchor line.

I think it burned until it sunk cause towards the end the smoke stopped and we didn't see them tow anything back. That thing was blazing cause we were on the 12th floor of East Point, plus on top of Mt. Mitchell and you could see the fire.

I'm surprised it wasn't in the news paper, maybe they didn't want to report the oil spilll.....

Island looked packed yesterday! We went slow on the way out but picked it up a lil bit on the way back.

SANDY HOOK: A 65-foot motor yacht caught fire after running aground in Horseshoe Cove around 5 p.m. Saturday. All four people on board, whose names were not available, were safely evacuated by Don Jones of Dover Township, a boat captain with Sea Tow Northern New Jersey, said Skip Shute Jr. of the Sandy Hook-based boater-assistance organization.
The family dog was also on board, but was presumed to have died, he said.

The fire appeared to have started in the engine room and then "totally involved" the boat, said Skip Shute Sr., also of Sea Tow.

Two Fire Department of New York boats responded, as did a fire boat from Perth Amboy, said the elder Shute.

Hull is upside down, got the first round of of sanding done and filler is in. Need to sand more today and hopefully prime tonight. Hopefully it will be flipped back over and the deck on by Friday.

Watch painting in this humidity! Though I'm sure you aren't using some flashy color like pink. I hope you have the hi temp hardner for that west system. Did you get the motor yet? Cant wait to see that thing go! If I was you I'd walk right past the garage to the pool!

Just got back from lunch, 97* on the thermometer!

The only releif is probably 1-2 miles offshore, not that I'll be seeing that anytime soon....

What's up for the weekend? I did retard math and forgot to carry a "1", turns out I really have $340 left in the budget for July!

Bracco's?? hmmm......
