Not a bad idea. I will have to discuss with Mike. Give JC a call, see if he'll be around on Sat. Can't go to LI and not meet him for some 1800!

I hear ya...

House Purchase, tailpipes, bmaxes and a laundry room put a huge dent in my usual summer boat budget. I usually save about $15K for gas and misc. boat BS over the winter for fun in the summer, this year no such luck.

Got the fast, slow and extra slow (panther) hardner for the west. Also got all the high temp stuff for the PPG paint I bought yesterday. I like to think of that paint as flashy, at over $150/qt it better be something, cobalt perl blue. Spent $867 on ppg Couldn't imagine material cost to paint a 40' boat. Going to mix a little clear to shoot over the carbon this afternoon to see how it looks.

I got the motor, waiting on the lower unit since they need to do some work for the low water pickup and they are going to drill the exhaust just above the cav plate so it can breath. At 7800rpm I going to wake a few people up on the river Once I get a prop baseline I am having a 5 blade cleaver custom made for it, 12 1/2 dia. I may have to come over and check out the new sewing machine when I do the seats. Bruno over at Powerhouse is going to do the mask so I can paint the graphics. Getting close now, need to make sure I have everything so I can start rigging next week.....I hope

The pool is 92, doesn't quite cool you off

Why not walk away from the pool, and down the ramp, on to the dock, lower the chip and GO FOR A RIDE!
